Спасяването на вековните дървета събра отново софиянци
Казусът с вековните дървета, за който 19 минути вече писа ще бъде гледан отново в комисията по околна среда във вторник от 11, 00 ч. По същото време, недоволните столичани свикват втори митинг около дърветата за да ги защитят. На 3 февруари столичани се обединиха в социалната мрежа facebook и предпазиха с телата си 200-годишния чинар, който е на територията на строежа на нов хипермаркет в столичния квартал Овча Купел. Около 100 души направиха жива верига около дървото. Кметът на район Витоша Стойко Дуков спря сечта на дървета в района и разпореди тройна експертиза. Тя трябва да потвърди възрастта и вида на това и още три дървета. Кметът обеща наказание за еколога на общината, издал разрешение за сеч. Проверката показва, че в близост до чинара има и още две вековни дървета - явори на 150-180 г. Според районния кмет разрешителното за строеж е окончателен административен акт и може да бъде отменено само със съдебно решение. В същото време според природозащитниците собствениците на парцела са назначили охрана на обекта за да няма подобни своеволия и протести от страна на обществото. Те са решили да оставят чинара, но да изсекат другите дървета. “Всички приказки, че чинара ще бъде запазен излиза че са имали за цел да отклонят вниманието ни от другите две вековни дървета в границите на имота.” заявяват протестиращите.
